
Stacked Farmhouse Mustard Burger
Try this irresistible burger that’s stacked with layer upon layer of flavor!

Ingredients
CARAMELIZED ONIONS:- 1 tbsp. olive oil
- 2 large onions, thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp. brown sugar
- Salt and pepper to taste
- ¼ cup mayonnaise
- ¼ cup Plochman’s Chili Dog Mustard
- ¼ cup Plochman’s Chili Dog Mustard
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 lb. ground beef
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 brioche buns, toasted
- 1 cup baby arugula leaves
- 4 slices tomato
- 4 large eggs, fried
Directions
- Caramelized Onions: heat oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Cook onions for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until browned and softened. Add sugar, salt and pepper and cook until sugar is dissolved.
- Burger Patties: combine mustard, egg and beef in a medium bowl and mix with hands until well combined. Shape mixture into 4 patties and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Cook on stovetop or grill until cooked as desired.
- Chili Dog Mustard Spread: combine mustard and mayonnaise and mix well.
- Burger Assembly: spread sauce on each side of the bun. Add arugula, tomato, cooked patties, caramelized onions and top with a fried egg
